Install shadowsocks client on centos 7 install#

The reason for this is because Shadowsocks works a little differently than a VPN. It appears from my research that Shadowsocks won't automatically route your traffic from the client to the sever and then to the internet.

sudo apt-get install python-pip python-m2crypto sudo pip install shadowsocks. m2crypto will make encryption a little faster. First, install python pip and then use pip to install shadowsocks.
